Massilon

The schooner Massilon was reported to have foundered north of Point Aux Barques in 1876 while carrying a load of limestone into Saginaw Bay. URA discovered the Massilon in the spring of 2003 and has finished filming this schooner. The wreck is mostly laid open but there are lots of things to see. The wreck of the Massilon is in water that is very close to sport diving depth which makes it a nice change for the URA divers who have been working on wrecks that are progressively deeper every year (over 220 ft deep).
